What is the Truma Combi?
The Truma Combi is a combination furnace and water heater. It is a ultra quiet, ultra efficient propane powered unit. It is simple to install, and very simple to operate. Truma Combi's have been available in Europe for well over a decade, and they are finally available here for you to install in your motorhome, camper van or trailer! Built in stainless steel tank holds 10L of water and never has any exposure to a heating element so you will never have to replace a anode again!
In summer mode, you can heat the water independently, in deep winter mode, you can heat your RV with no water in the tank. Very universal.
Is this a tankless water heater? Will I waste water?
No, This is not a tankless water heater, you will not waste any water, it is by far the most efficient system on the market. It features a 10L (2.64 Gallon) water heater jacket.
What are the specifications?
Truma Combi eco (This model) is the North American equivalent of the Combi 4. This model is for medium sized RV's such as a truck camper, class B, B+, class c, or 20' or under trailer.
Space requirements are 23.8" (Length) x 19.5" (Width) x 13.8" (Height). This includes minimum distances from combustibles.
It is capable of heating up to 14,300BTU with a 7,500BTU Standard mode.
The Water tank is 2.64Gallons (10L), and the CP Plus Display and Furnace require 12V to operate.

What do I need outside of this kit?
This kit provides you everything you need to install in your van or trailer. You will need some basic tools along with a hole saw to cut out the exhaust hole. We will provide you with end adapters to use standard 1/2" CTS or flexible tubing. The Safety valve and water pressure reduce included uses a 1/2" NPT fitting, and you will require the correct adapter for your specific application or hose routing. The main 12v connection on this unit will required a 15A fused connection. Spade connectors provided. You will require a hard or rubber Propane line with a SAE 45° Flare Female SAE J512, 5/8”-18 Fitting.
Is this unit certified for us in the US or Canada?
Yes. Absolutely. These units are manufactured specifically for the North American market. It is not a imported European model. It has all necessary certifications and has been through testing in North America.
What about a warranty?
We have got you covered. We stock all necessary parts and will provide you with full support for 1 year from the time you receive your unit. All we ask is that you follow the Truma Combi installation manual and do not let water freeze in the water tank.
